Happy Mother’s Day to all you Mamas!

You are special, You are loved, You are Important. Many of us wonder how we’re doing as moms – where we’re failing and where we’re succeeding. But while we try to figure that out, all our children really want is the simple gift of US. Here’s to each of you mamas! You got this!!! (:

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
‘Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.’
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:26-28

I’m thankful for each of you awesome mothers!!! Celebrating Mother’s Day with my crew:

Parenting & Devotional Book Recommendations

The devotional for 6 & up fosters wonder in His amazing creation & Himself. So good!

The Boundaries book is impactful and practical for parenting all age children and this quote summarizes it. “Boundaries with kids isn’t about ‘making’ your child do anything. People who are coerced to do something don’t have the freedom to make nature or moral choices. It is much more about structuring your child’s existence so that he experiences the consequences of his behavior, thus leading him to be more responsible and caring.”

The pic below is from the March of Dimes walk yesterday supporting Preemie babies! Our triplets participated in the “Superhero Sprint” where they had capes for all the kids – so cute! And so much fun seeing some of the nurses from the NICU who took care of B, B& G when they were itty bitties!

“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

Sharing your Children’s Birth Stories with Them

Years ago, a MOPS speaker said children love knowing the details of how they came into the world because it helps them grasp that they are each individuals with their own story and purpose and also a special gift to God and us. Have fun sharing your children’s birth stories with them and the miracles they are!

“Children are a gift from the Lord.” Psalm 127:3

Meltdowns…

As a parent, I’m assuming you have encountered many meltdowns from your kids as I have. One of my daughter’s mega meltdowns is what inspired me to right this article below. I hope it encourages you and that you are reminded that the most important thing your children need is YOU. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!
