Verses: “Love each other as I have loved you.” Jesus (John 15:12)

“Jesus was teaching and a woman was there who had been crippled… When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said, ‘Woman you are set free…’” Luke 13:10, 12

Question: In the verse from Luke, Jesus was in the middle of preaching, and stopped to be with and heal the crippled woman. The moments we slow down (like Jesus always did) to be with our kids are so valuable to them, and us! Let’s try to take one moment each day this week where we purposely slow down to be with our kiddo.

For us, playing card games (Uno/Crazy 8’s) is a great way to spend time together, and the classic basketball game of P-I-G (HORSE is too long at this point!) My 6-year-old beat me (humbling) and you can see him celebrating in the pic!

Beautiful Hearted Parenting is a place where WE can spur one another on in encouraging our kids to love God and love others in practical ways. And, I’d love for you to be a part of it!

I’ll be posting two times a week on Facebook and Instagram, and will also share these posts here. Monday I will share a verse (or quote) and another day I will post a connecting question about a parenting theme. While our kids might be different ages, we can learn from one another as we are all in this together!

I hope Beautiful Hearted Parenting will be a place where we can be real, not compare, and be refreshed as we encourage our kids to love God and love others! WELCOME!
